This is rim striping like you the curved rim striping you have seen before. The difference between text rim striping and curved rim striping is that you can customize your own text. For example your racing team’s website or your nickname etc. You can choose from 5 fonts (see example below).

The text will appear twice on each side of each wheel. Furthermore, we include one free text as a spare stripe. Just like standard striping, each side of each rim is provided with four parts. In total this equals 16 parts + 2 spare parts. The height of the text is always 10mm, you can choose the height of the striping yourself (4-10mm).

Standard striping fits 17inch wheels. When your motorcycle has different sized wheel, e.g. 19inch, please inform us in the comments when you order. We cut this striping by means of a computerized machine. We do not print onto white or transparent foil; every single white part that is shown on the example image is cut away. This method creates a very professional look. We create the sticker ourselves, so they are delivered within 3-5 working days.

Text Rimstriping Fonts

You can choose from 5 fonts. These fonts are shown below. Some fonts are limited when it comes to numbers, symbols and capital letters. If a font is not mentioned, everything is possible. Letteromatic: Capital letters only Rossi Font: Capital letters only Tip: Type your text in capital letters, so every letter will have the same height. Type “RACING TEAM” instead of “Racing Team”.

WHAT COMES WITH THIS SET TEXT RIM STRIPING? Each set provides striping for both sides of both wheels. We include 2 spare stripes. You will receive a sheet with 9 times your text. This is enough to apply the text twice onto each side of each rim. You have one spare stripe left.

Application instructions Text rim striping

1. Place the motorcycle onto paddock stands, so the wheels can rotate freely.
2. Degrease the rims with a soft cloth. Remove any dust or grease.
3. Cut the parts of the striping with a sharp pair of scissors.
4. Add a few drops of washing up liquid to 1 liter water.
5. Before applying the stripes, spray a thin layer of water onto the edge of the rim. When you do this, you are able to re-apply the stripes. The striping won’t adhere to the rim before the water is evaporated.
6. When you use this water method, wait a few hours before riding your motorcycle. It takes some time for the water to evaporate through the porous striping. The motorcycle can be washed after 5 days.
7. Remove the paper from the stripes one by one, and apply them to the rim. Re-apply the stripes until it is in sync with the radius of the wheel (this creates the best result).
8. Don’t pull on the striping too strongly. The thinner the stripe, the easier it changes shape.
9. Cut the striping at the end. Both applying the ends of the striping close to each other and applying one end over the other is possible. Make sure the stripes do not overlap more than 1 centimeter.
10. Take a few steps back, have a look at you motorcycle and enjoy the fantastic result!

Tip to improve adhesion: directly after applying the striping, shortly heat it with a heat gun or hair dryer.
